I recently returned to the Fine Arts World. For the past twenty-five years I have been engaged in the exterior styling and interior design of large, private and production yachts. I have had the good fortune to travel throughout the world visiting and being exposed to cultural distinctions.
My primary painting medium is oil – oil paint, oil bar and oil pastel.
I graduated from the University of Puget Sound and continued post graduate study at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, California. My work has been shown in several one man shows and appeared in NW and national juried shows. Private and corporate collectors include: The Seattle Sailing Foundation, Ocean Alexander International, Clarkes Restaurants and American Savings Bank.
During the process of designing yacht interiors I was able to project my fine art as part of the decor package. I’m blessed to have my paintings hanging on clients’ yachts and in their homes.
I am an artist / member of the American Society of Marine Artists [ ASMA ], the Puget Sound Group of Artists, and the American Impressionistic Society, Inc.
I look forward to the additional time now available to pursue my regard for fine art.
